Budgets & Fundraising

Supporting Our Commitment to Excellence & Affordability

The University budget is built to reflect the institution’s commitments to academic excellence and affordability. Cost containment along with strategic investments in financial aid, faculty, and research are critical to these goals. Fundraising contributes to critical operational needs and strategic investments that can’t be paid out of other budget categories. These funds become part of the university endowment, which is essential to sustaining academic excellence because it provides a guaranteed source of income to support student scholarships, professorships, innovative programs, learning opportunities, and life-saving research.
